Empark Hotels & Resorts was established in 2008. It is a subsidiary of a family conglomerate, Golden Resources Group. From it's first hotel, a five-star hotel in Fuzhou, China in 2001, Empark Hotels & Resorts have built a reputation in China's accommodation industry for its self-sustained business model, where they attend to design, construction, operations and management of its hotels independently. This business model has allowed the group to grow rapidly nationwide. Since then, the portfolio has expanded to 21 independent hotels and 10 management contract properties, which equates to more than 14,000 hotel room count using four distinctive brands Empark Grand & KingWorld, Empark Prime, Empark View and Empark Resort. The founding family are Chinese culture advocates, they instill their belief in their businesses. The concept, service, and business models demonstrates Chinese culture positively.
